31 Monis Wines Vintage Muscadel 2000 4 Stars (1)
Tasted cold as prescribed. Strong raisin aromas with a sweet brandy pudding nose. A lovely red copper gold colour. Pleasant sweet taste with a dash of alcohol. Reminds me of my grand mother`s christmas pudding. "A ladies brandy" Excellent value for money. This will go well with a malva pudding or almost any other warm South African pudding. I will recommend this to friends and family.
32 Simonsig Labyrinth Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 4 Stars (1)
Lovely red colour with strong wood, roasted peppers and spice aromas. Strong full bodied taste with loads of depth and maturing potential. This is a keeper. Has excellent balance between bitterness and underlying acidity.
33 De Krans Cape Vintage Reserve Port 2005 4 Stars (1)
Lovely fruity aromas with a strong sweet taste that leaves you with a smooth warm aftertaste. Strong alcohol that works wonders on a cold winter night. This is a really exceptional port. Great value for money if you are looking a good winter sipper. The labeling and bottle can do with an upgrade. The overall package lacks collectibility and does not stand out on the shelf.

74 Buitenverwachting Buiten Blanc 2007 3 Stars (2)
This wine was tasted cold and had strong citrus aromas with a faint wild flower nose. Very pale straw colour almost completely transparent. A watery crisp feel in the mouth with a soft acidic taste. Watered down apple juice comes to mind. Not a bad taste, something you would drink on a hot summers day. This wine has a good balance and will go down well with any picnic basket. Pair with fish, chicken or salad.
75 Fat Bastard Chardonnay 2008 3 Stars (2)
Tasted this wine at room temperature. Pale yellow colour with soft touches of green on the edges. Lovely lemongrass and green apple aromas. A slightly creamy texture in mouth. Not as full bodied as expected. Good balance with slight bitterness with an acidic offset. Quite a nice wine. Love the label design.
76 D‘Aria Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2008 2 Stars (1)
Pale colour, almost completely transparent. Apple nose with notes of pineapple in the mouth. Has an off-balanced structure caused by to much acidity.
77 Franschhoek Vineyards The Churchyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 2 Stars (1)
Ruby red colour with coffee mocha aromas and nutty undertones. A watery medium bodied mouth. A bit off balanced due to high acidity and has almost no aftertaste. Tastes flat, young and green.
78 D‘Aria Winery The Songbird 2008 3 Stars (2)
Pale straw colour with promises of wood. Strong apple nose and upfront pineapple fruity flavours. Acidity is well balanced by the creamy butter feel in the mouth.
79 Perdeberg Winery Sauvignon Blanc Reserve 2009 2 Stars (1)
Pale straw yellow colour. Strong figs and watermelon skin jam aromas. Not the usual Sauvignon Blanc taste, cannot place it, almost pre-ripe apricots. Strong acidity, lingering after taste. Might improve with 1 - 2 years in the cellar. Needs a strong fish dish to off set and compliment.
1 Star (Not very good, but not bad)
